Frazer-Nash Consultancy has appointed engineer, Christian Rayes to its Systems Safety and Assurance team, based in the firm’s Adelaide office.
With significant experience in naval architecture, marine engineering and structural design, Christian’s skill set will strengthen Frazer-Nash’s extensive defence and maritime capabilities.
Christian reports to Systems Safety and Assurance Group Leader, Robert Dickie:
“We’ve been on the look out for someone with Christian’s rare skill set, and with his breadth of experience in a number of different roles in maritime systems engineering in Australia and overseas he’ll be a great asset to our team.
“We’ll be using his skills across a number of projects, including providing specialist engineering services to support the infrastructure upgrade of the shipyard at Osborne North in Adelaide. He’ll also be supporting maintenance of Royal Australian Navy vessels in Sydney, as well as working on other shipbuilding projects in Adelaide,” said Robert.
Christian says, “I was attracted to the position as there is a good bunch of people from different backgrounds working at Frazer-Nash so there is an opportunity to learn a lot and progress.”
