Congratulations to Matt Silleto who has been awarded Fellowship by Engineers Australia. This is the highest level of membership within Engineers Australia, which carries with it a recognition of eminence and requires engineers to have significant demonstrable experience of professional achievements and prominence within the profession.
Matt joined Frazer-Nash in March 2023. He is a mechanical and systems engineer with 16 years' experience across manufacturing, automation, R&D and safety assurance applications. Matt is passionate about improving the safety and effectiveness of complex infrastructure and since joining Frazer-Nash, he has contributed to system safety projects in the transport and defence sectors. He has also been a voice for recognition for the engineering profession and a public advocate for registration of engineers in the ACT.
Matt said: “I am deeply honoured to be recognised by my engineering peers as a Fellow of Engineers Australia. Fellowship is a testament to the engineering contributions and achievements of not only myself but also the many colleagues, comrades, mentors and collaborators who have supported me throughout my career. I feel very fortunate to be able to contribute to such meaningful projects as part of my career and this recognition is an added privilege.”
Harry Scott-Dempster, Engineering Manager, said: “It is terrific that we have so many capable individuals within Frazer-Nash, and whilst we have long known that our people are some of the best-in-the-business, the achievement of external recognition through Fellowship with EA is a clear marker of achieving the highest level of our profession. I’d like to offer my congratulations to Matt in achieving this career landmark and thank him for his contribution to both Frazer-Nash and the work he does in representing the engineering profession at large.”
Congratulations to Matt, whose achievement has increased Fellow membership of Frazer-Nash’s engineering workforce to a cohort of 10 in Australia - a testimony of the high standard we uphold as trusted professionals.
