Frazer-Nash has appointed Senior Engineer, Tom Christophersen to its Engineering Asset Management team, based in the firm’s Melbourne office.
With 15 years' experience in asset management, risk management and reliability engineering, Tom’s significant skill set will strengthen Frazer-Nash’s extensive energy and transport capabilities.
Tom reports to Engineering and Asset Management Group Leader, Harry Scott-Dempster at Frazer-Nash. Harry said:
“Tom brings a positive and rational approach to problem solving. He’s jumped straight into a RAM analysis for a major mining client. His expertise is also informing the design of rail infrastructure via a life-cycle operational analysis to ensure the transport system performs efficiently and reliably before it is built.
"In addition, Tom has years of experience and significant achievements with wind turbines in Denmark, which enables us to better support more clients in the renewables sector. He was responsible for designing improved wind turbine components and led the development of tools and processes to transport and construct them more efficiently."
Tom added:
“I’m excited to join a team of smart, experienced people from a variety of backgrounds and a company that supports its staff to continually build on existing skill-sets.”
